5 Funny Things // April 15, 2020

Took a brief pause from writing updates here, but I’m back! I was a little down in the dumps last Tuesday, but the news has turned around for the better (also, Wisconsinites are truly the best people out there).

Here are some things making me laugh this week:

ONE // A great new alarm clock to add to your quarantine routine. (The Onion)

TWO // A quarantine poem: “First lines of emails I’ve received while quarantining.” (Twitter)

THREE // A too-true Zoom company call (SNL) // SNL At Home opening credits and monologue

FOUR // TV writers share how they would write a coronavirus episode (Vulture) – this is a LONG read, but very fun to pick up throughout the day!

FIVE // Forcing 100 Sims to live in isolation (YouTube) – this one is straight-up weird, but it’s weird enough to make you laugh!

Screencapture of John Krasinski in Some Good News episode.

BONUS // Two things that are bringing me so much joy are the last two episodes of SGN, John Krasinski’s YouTube show, Some Good News. I have literally cried every time I’ve watched his show (in a good way) because it’s so uplifting. Give episode 2 and episode 3 a watch today. You won’t regret it.
