A Full Week of… What?

empty NYC subway train

Today marks a full week since I’ve left my neighborhood (Washington Heights), taken the subway, or otherwise lived a “normal” day. Every day since last Friday I’ve been either inside my apartment or taking short walks in the area around my building.

If you’re reading this, please tell me you are also now taking precautions to 1) limit your own exposure to this virus, and 2) doing your part to prevent the spread. (Did you know? You could be carrying the virus right now and not exhibit any symptoms – it’s called being “asymptomatic.” I’m not a health expert, but you can read more about it here).

Today also marks Day 5 of working from home. My team has been doing conference video meetings, and it’s been nice to see each other and catch up on work and life that way. If you have the capability, I’d really recommend doing an occasional video meeting. And if you don’t have that WFH capability, then try FaceTime with family and friends (especially if you live alone). It’s great to reconnect and see a smiling face looking back at you.

Also, if you’re feeling lonely right now, feel free to send me an email or leave a comment on this post (scroll down!). We can be alone, together.

Ok, that’s about all I have to say for today. Here are some links I found on the Internet that you might enjoy too:

More later.
