It’s been a few months since I last wrote anything, but I had the pressing feeling to write something this week. Nothing’s particularly top of mind that I need to share or get off my chest, but I’m planning to start writing again and (hopefully) on a more regular schedule. (If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I’m sure you’re thinking *how many times has she said that?!*)
With summer unofficially over, it’s definitely starting to feel like fall in New York. After a very full and fast summer, it’s crazy to think that we’re nearing the final quarter of 2017. How did this year go by so quickly?!
Today is my first full Friday workday since May (bye, half-day #SummerFridays), and I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a downer. Last week, my boyfriend and I took off of work to vacation down in Orlando (more on this soon!), so this entire week has dragged quite a bit.
But I’m planning on welcoming this Friday and letting it guide me into the weekend. My mind may be elsewhere once the afternoon rolls around, but I’m going to be as intentional as possible to readjust to working the full day.
