I’m headed to La Crosse, WI, this morning for my cousin’s wedding this weekend. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, and I can’t wait to see my cousin and his beautiful fiancée tie the knot.
In the meantime, here’s what I’m reading this weekend…
Ok, so this concoction looks pretty amazing. I feel like there’s constantly articles written about how we should be drinking water with lemon or cucumber or ginger. But who honestly remembers to throw a slice into their glass? I personally would love to try the blueberry, beet, and cucumber cubes – talk about yum! These pre-made ice cubes are so perfect to throw into a pitcher or glass – then poof! you’re on your way!
I kind of love this – 100 years of American fashion in under 2 minutes! My favorites are the 10s, 30s, 60s, 70s, and today’s fashion. It’s just so much fun to imagine the kinds of clothes my mom, grandma, and great-grandma wore back in the day.
Some of these responses are lighthearted and others are more on the serious side. Either way, I love the honesty that these individuals brought forth. It lets those currently in their twenties feel a little more capable of changing the course of their life (especially if anything feels “stuck”).
ModCloth is really hitting it out of the ballpark with its summer trends. I really love this, this, this, these, and this (and they’re all super affordable!). The summer accessories like this mini grill and summer cocktails book are kind of perfect.
Real Simple came up with this amazing chart with every tipping situation you could possibly think of. From bartenders to strippers at a bachelorette party, RS has you covered. Totally saving this page for future reference!
I flew through The Girl on the Train last week and recently started The Interestings. I’m kind of loving the free time I have so I can read all the books in my ever-growing to-read pile! (PS – let’s be friends on Goodreads!)
