Admittedly, I don’t have a lot of time to read right now. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t make the time!
I try to read as much as I can before bed and on the subway. These are the two times throughout the day that I don’t feel guilty reading (since I basically can’t do anything else during these times anyways).
Here’s what I’m currently reading:
Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century
I previously wrote about this over a year ago when I bought the book, but I’m finally reading it – it’s pretty good so far. If you know anything about Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, or their relationship, you’ll know just how dramatic this book will be. So far, it reads like a bit of a novella, with the affairs, lavish gifts, and the on-again, off-again saga.
Miracles Now: 108 Life-Changing Tools for Less Stress, More Flow, and Finding Your True Purpose
I picked up this book while I was at Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Life conference. Gabby was the last speaker of the weekend, and she offered more than I would have ever expected. I’m almost finished with this book (the only one they were offering at the conference), but it’s just alright so far. I think that I would have been better off to start with the precursor to this book, May Cause Miracles. This book references the first one so much that I feel a little in the dark sometimes. Other than that, there are some great tools and practices that she mentions throughout that can help bring your life more ease throughout the day.

So what’s next on my reading plate?
