Weekend Reading

There’s something about the chill in the air that makes me want to do two very opposite things. The first contains fantasies of strolling through Central Park, dancing in the falling leaves, and wearing chic jackets. The second is me on my couch, snuggled up in my softest blanket, and reading the next book in my reading queue.

I feel that the latter has been happening as of late. I’ve been devouring books like crazy (updates to come soon): Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham, UnMarketing by Scott Stratten, The Psychopath Test by Jon Ronson, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. You could say I’ve been busy.

Anyways… It’s been a pretty newsworthy week. The first diagnosed case of Ebola in NYC has been confirmed. A shooting had occurred at Canada’s Parliament (and the Canadian media handled it spectacularly). And, in some good news, Kate Middleton’s delivery date has been announced.

If you’re looking for something to read that won’t make your day gloomy, look no further…
